His persona is unparallel. His signature sound stands apart from the rest of the music industry’s other mixtape DJ’s. As soon as he gets on the turntables or when you listen to his mixtapes, you know its one person and one person only. It’s the Mixtape Supastar himself, DJ Plexx.
For years he has mastered the art of mixing and blending. His artistic DJ skills have taken him from the state of New Jersey to the island of Bermuda and many states in between. Weekend after weekend the Mixtape Supastar does his thing whenever he steps into the party.

says Plexx. He is known to take the party to another level. Born and raised in Trenton, New Jersey, Plexx feels he was put on this earth to be a part of the Hip-Hop scene. As a youth, he watched and admired the skills of the locally famous DJ Twins. Other Local DJ’s that also inspired Plexx to become the unique and authentic DJ that he is today include DJ L, Grand Wizard Red, and Cutmaster B.
When asked about the mixtape scene, he responded by saying,
The mixtape game is saturated now; I want to take it to the next level.
As a result of this, he has incorporated and is now CEO of Lay-Low Entertainment. With this new business venture at hand, he plans to strategically make moves in the Hip-Hop industry. Lay-Low Entertainment is responsible for throwing some of the hottest parties, comedy shows, and cabarets that the city has ever experienced, and it doesn’t stop there! Plexx also assist many local artists who are trying to enter the music business. Whether his role is being the liaison to producers and studio engineers, giving advice, or simply hosting someone’s mixtape,
Plexx is definitely sincere about what he does. Recently, Plexx has collaborated with other mixtapes DJ’s like Ron G and Jae Supreme to put out some of the hottest mixtapes on the scene. Another one of Plexx’s many achievements includes being the former DJ on the Chuck Chill-Out Show on XM Radio. Through the struggles and ups and downs of the music industry, he tends to remain focused and continues to build bridges over any obstacles that he may encounter. As for the future, DJ Plexx plans to extend his brand of entertainment worldwide, staying on top of his game and being persistent at raising the bar. He knows the sky is the limit and if you can dream it, you can achieve it.
